This policy explains how we handle DMCA notices relating to content hosted on or processed through the ContentGuard platform itself, as well as how ContentGuard assists users in submitting takedown notices to third-party platforms.
Reporting Infringement on ContentGuard
If you believe that content hosted on ContentGuard infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated DMCA agent containing the following information as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorised agent.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with sufficient detail to locate it on our platform.
- Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, and email address).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.

Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3) containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located.
Repeat Infringers
ContentGuard maintains a policy of terminating accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers of intellectual property rights in appropriate circumstances.
How ContentGuard Assists Users with Takedowns
ContentGuard provides tools to help copyright owners and their authorised representatives generate and organise DMCA takedown notices for submission to third-party platforms. When using ContentGuard to generate a DMCA notice:
- You confirm that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
- You confirm that the information provided is accurate and truthful.
- You understand that submitting a false DMCA notice may expose you to civil liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
- ContentGuard is a tool — the legal responsibility for the notice rests entirely with you.
