By accessing or using ContentGuard ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including creators, agencies, and any other parties who access the platform.
ContentGuard is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that provides tools for creators to track leaked content, manage DMCA takedown cases, generate DMCA notices, and monitor takedown progress. ContentGuard assists in the preparation and organisation of takedown requests but does not provide legal advice and is not a law firm.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use ContentGuard. By using the Service, you represent that you are of legal age and have the authority to enter into these terms.
You agree to:
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of all information included in DMCA notices generated through ContentGuard. Submitting a false DMCA notice may expose you to legal liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). ContentGuard is a tool to assist you — the legal responsibility for the content of any notice rests with you.
ContentGuard offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed through Lemon Squeezy. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges at the stated frequency. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled in accordance with our refund policy and Lemon Squeezy's terms.
All platform code, design, and content created by ContentGuard is owned by ContentGuard and protected by intellectual property law. You retain full ownership of the content and case data you input into the platform. You grant ContentGuard a limited licence to process and store your data solely to provide the Service.
You may not use ContentGuard to:
ContentGuard is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ContentGuard shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to failed takedowns, platform downtime, or data loss.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these terms. You may cancel your account at any time through the Settings page. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
